what is NannyShare and how does it work?
is a site that helps parents meet other families that might be interested
in sharing childcare. Post a short ad with your basic information and
comments, and start searching for other families in your neighborhood that meet
your criteria. Once you have identified potential candidates, contact
them through NannyShare to learn more about them and determine whether
they are a good match.
Please note that
is strictly a place for interested families to post and find each other.

Signing up (or signing in) via Facebook takes seconds. We do not post to
Facebook or share your Facebook information with others - it's strictly
for your convenience.
We understand that you may not be comfortable signing up using
Facebook, and that's why we also added a regular email+password sign up.

what should I put in my ad and what should I look for?
Nanny sharing works best with children of approximately the same age.
As you are searching for families, make sure that you are clear
about the days/hours needed, any special preferences for the kind of
childcare provider (background, education, etc), and any other special
considerations or requirements that you may have.
Once you find a family on
contact them to set up a time to chat or meet face to face. Find out whether
your schedules and nanny requirements are compatible, and go from there.
